Who we are
We are responsible for the personal data described here on Am I Ready for Agents? (amireadyforagents.com). The site has no user accounts, no payments and no comments. You can use the self-check, the readiness calculator and the tool comparison without giving us any personal data.
What we collect
Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. For a copyright notice we also receive the extra details that form asks for.
Technical logs. Our hosting provider automatically records technical data when pages are requested: IP address, browser and device details, the page requested and the time. This is used to run and secure the site.
Your answers in the tools. The self-check, calculator and comparison keep your answers in the open page's memory only. They are not saved in cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage, are not sent to us, and disappear when you close or reload the page.
Fonts. Page fonts load from Google Fonts. When they load, Google receives your IP address and browser details. The site loads no analytics, advertising or other tracking scripts.
Why we use it and our legal basis
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, we rely on our legitimate interests to operate and secure the site and to read and answer the messages you send. Where the law requires consent, we ask for it and you may withdraw it at any time.
Who receives it
We share personal data only with hosting and infrastructure providers acting for us, the provider that delivers contact form messages once the form is connected, and authorities where the law requires it.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
International transfers
Your data may be processed outside your country, wherever our providers operate, with appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep contact messages only as long as needed to handle them, then delete them. Server logs are kept for a limited period set by our hosting provider.
Your rights
EU and UK. You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to our use of it, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to your data protection supervisory authority.
California. Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, you can ask to know and to delete or correct the personal information we hold, and to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither). We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Elsewhere. You can also use the rights you have under other privacy laws that apply to you.
To make a request, use the contact form and choose "Privacy request".
Children
This site is written for business readers and is not directed to children under 16.
Changes to this policy
If what the site does with personal data changes, we will update this page and its "Last updated" date. See also our Cookie Policy.
