The short of it

Am I Ready for Agents? is an educational site for business leaders. We work from public sources only and do not test other companies' sites.

What is this site for?

To help marketing, ecommerce and digital leaders answer one question: is my business ready for AI agents that search, read, book and buy on behalf of customers? We explain what agents do, offer a self-check, and suggest what to ask developers. Implementation guides are out of scope.

How are pages researched?

Desk research from public pages: standards documents (for example RFC 9309 for robots.txt), crawler directories, and announcements from the companies named. Every fact links to the page it came from, and each page carries the date it was reviewed. This edition was reviewed in September 2026.

LIMITATIONS

Public sources only. No hands-on testing, no scans of other sites, no vendor interviews. Where a company does not publish something, we say so or leave it out. We do not publish statistics we cannot source, customer stories or forecasts of traffic or sales.

What is the self-check, and what is it not?

A set of 18 questions scored in your browser against a rubric we wrote and publish on the readiness levels page. It is a self-assessment of your own answers, not a scan, not a certification and not ora.ai's scoring model. Your answers are not stored or sent anywhere.

Who writes it?

Pages are written and reviewed by the Am I Ready for Agents? editors.

How do I report a mistake?

Email hello@amireadyforagents.com with the page and the correction. We reply within ten days, and corrected pages show a new review date.

Does this site track me?

The site has no accounts, forms or analytics of its own, and the self-check keeps your answers only in the open tab.
